Training 1 – Dates:

Tuesday 2nd to Thursday 4th of September 2025
Participanting WSAs:

  1. Bergrivier Local Municipality
  2. Saldanha Bay Local Municipality
  3. Theewaterskloof Local Municipality
  4. City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality
  5. Drakenstein Local Municipality
  6. Overstrand Local Municipality
This first training is designed for a total of 30 participants, organized into 6 teams.
Training 2 – Dates:

Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th of September 2025
Participanting WSAs:

  1. George Local Municipality
  2. Hessequa Local Municipality
  3. Knysna Local Municipality
  4. Mossel Bay Local Municipality
  5. Oudtshoorn Local Municipality
This second training is designed for a total of 25 participants, organized into 5 teams.
Venue:
  • Ocean Breeze Hotel & Coference Centre
  • Hotel on Strand Beach, selected for a quiet and immersive training experience.
  • The training includes fully accommodation and meals. Please note that transport to and from the training venue is not included.

Please note: This is a residential training, and all participants are kindly required to stay at the hotel for the entire duration of the program. This is essential to create an immersive, focused environment where everyone can fully benefit from the experience.

Field visits

One field trip per training will take place on Wednesday mornings, 3rd and 10th of September

  • Masincedane, Strandfontein, where participants will visit a Clear Enviroloo system.
  • 7 de Laan, Strandfontein, where participants will visit a Aquonic Tank.

Transport for the entire field visit is included.
